My Thoughts on the Vaccine

My beliefs and thoughts on the Covid Virus have changed drastically since this began in early 2020. Driven by two facts, my faith and my reason, based on science, I have summarized where I am today on the vaccine and the pandemic as a whole.

When we first heard of how the cases quickly spreadly and it’s apparent deadly effects I focused on the safety of my family. We wore masks and watched who we socialized with. My kids quit their jobs at a local grocery store and my business shut down and worked with reduced personnel.

As information and science came to light I saw how that information was restricted and censored. Any science that conflicted with the pandemic view was censored. I believe in open and honest discussions and when any side wants to hide or restrict information, my experience says, that is seldom for the best.

When the Vaccine was developed I was faced with the moral implications of taking a vaccine whose development and testing were based on aborted children. All of the Vaccines use fetal cells in testing and a few use them in the actual vaccine.

I found I had already probably unknowingly used medicine with similar histories.

Yet, now that I was aware of their questionable ethical development would I take this new Vaccine?

As a Catholic, it was apparent the Church had already weighed in. Yet, I have recently seen terrible selfish decisions embraced by the church for decades. Decisions that left countless victims in their path.

When the Church released its official comments on the vaccine I wanted to see how it was written.

The release was filled with problematic thinking of which I will quote a few.

“We do not intend to judge the safety and efficacy of these vaccines, although ethically relevant and necessary, as this evaluation is the responsibility of biomedical researchers and drug agencies. Here, our objective is only to consider the moral aspects of the use of the vaccines against Covid-19 that have been developed from cell lines derived from tissues obtained from two fetuses that were not spontaneously aborted.”

The Vaccines have resulted in the deaths of thousands already and it’s long-term effects could be far worse. So ethically how do you comment on something we do not know about? What makes you think only two fetuses were involved? What if it was a thousand children killed?

“2. In this sense, when ethically irreproachable Covid-19 vaccines are not available (e.g. in countries where vaccines without ethical problems are not made available to physicians and patients, or where their distribution is more difficult due to special storage and transport conditions, or when various types of vaccines are distributed in the same country but health authorities do not allow citizens to choose the vaccine with which to be inoculated) it is morally acceptable to receive Covid-19 vaccines that have used cell lines from aborted fetuses in their research and production process.”

This seems to indicate that any means would therefore justify the vaccine. So if it could only be made by the blood of Bishops would we proceed?

“[3]--in this case, the pandemic spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes Covid-19. It must therefore be considered that, in such a case, all vaccinations recognized as clinically safe and effective can be used in good conscience”

These Vaccines are not recognized as safe by millions of people including thousands of doctors and scientists.

“ In the absence of other means to stop or even prevent the epidemic, the common good may recommend vaccination, especially to protect the weakest and most exposed.”

Yet, there are other means available, and most importantly these vaccines do not stop the spread or prevent the epidemic, so the above statement is just not true.

This entire paper was fraught with errors and false assumptions and gave consent to vaccines that stop the spread, which NONE of these does.

Corona Virus’ are spread through the lungs, so no vaccine will stop the spread. A vaccine may help with the symptoms, but not the spread. People with the vaccine are still contracting Covid.

For me the bottom line morally is, this Vaccine does not even meet the criteria of a fatally flawed paper trying to give its consent.

Now, let’s review some of the science.

First, I am amazed at how many people are encouraging people to receive an experimental treatment. The FDA does not approve of this vaccine as is clearly stated in their documentation. The fact sheet for the Moderna Vaccine states this concept twice in the first two pages. “The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine is an unapproved vaccine that may prevent COVID-19. There is no FDA-approved vaccine to prevent COVID-19”

So the FDA has granted an “Emergency Use” which indemnifies them of any current or future problems.

In a recent recording of someone talking to a Vaccine representative they read this transcript and agreed everyone who takes the vaccine is participating in a trial.

Maybe the Government learned its lesson after it was sued for the Swine Flu Vaccine of the ’80s. This quick video from our past seems eerily familiar.

But before we leave the emergency use authorization the Moderna fact sheet points out something else. To authorize emergency use “there are no adequate, approved and available alternatives”

The section of the government codes that refers to this is under section 21 USC 360bbb: expanded access to unapproved therapies and diagnostics.

“(2) there is no comparable or satisfactory alternative therapy available to diagnose, monitor, or treat that stage of disease or condition in the population of patients to which the investigational drug or investigational device is intended to be administered;”

Now of special note, this above special exception would seem to me to preclude offering this to children because they are not the part of the population that is endangered. We are bending the rules for what we believe is our own safety. We are applying an emergency use drug to people who do not need it. If this virus affected everyone the same way it does children then it would never have been approved. The numbers and science do not justify vaccinating children. This is only done for our own selfish and unproven concerns.

This also gave me a better understanding of why readily available drugs like Hydroxychloriquine and Ivermectin might have been rejected and continue to be. They would be and are barriers to getting emergency use authorization or keeping it.

There were many forces acting together to remove the “obstacles” that would have prevented a new vaccine from being approved. Now, a full year later we have several studies by multiple hospitals and researchers showing these drugs were quite effective at stemming this epidemic and preventing death.

It is amazing that relatively harmless drugs were and are still withheld. I find it odd that drugs that have decades of use are restricted, while a drug with no known history is pushed.

Society at large has taken the unscientific position that since so many people have taken the Vaccine it is somehow safe, yet that is not where the science is going.

We are treating this vaccine like aspirin. Aspirin is made for a short-term effect, where vaccines are made to provide lifetime alterations to the human immune system.

The fact that only a small number of people have gotten sick or died is not a reflection of what might be long-term ramifications. I say a small number but we are talking tens of thousands but small in relation to the distribution of the vaccine.

There was ample science showing that people who got the worst cases of Covid were Vitamin D deficient, yet the idea of recommending supplements never got any traction.

I am a vast consumer of Vitamin D products and yet when I saw this data I still supplemented my diet with more Vitamin D and zinc.

I finally got Covid, and for me, it was a non-issue. I didn't even know that I had it because it was like any other flu... Yet, getting and surviving Covid-19 is not enough for the Vaccine supporters. They recommended that a person with a naturally developed immunity get the Vaccine. To me, this is unscientific as both history and current science have shown.

In one set of instances, several people were having very bad reactions to the vaccine. The underlying cause was determined to be these people tested positive for the antibodies. So there was an additional danger to getting a vaccine when you already had recent exposure. This is something that just makes sense. Many vaccines are not recommended if you already had the sickness and remember, this vaccine is not approved.

The Cleveland Clinic recently released a study confirming that people who have had Covid are not likely to get it again and people who are vaccinated can still get Covid.

The study concludes, "individuals who have laboratory-confirmed symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from COVID-19 vaccination, and vaccines can be safely prioritized to those who have not been infected before.”

Yet, even after these studies and previous practices with other vaccine treatments, there is almost no talk of counting those who have had covid as vaccinated or safe.

There are many virologists and scientists who have grave concerns about the future effects of these vaccines. My primary concern came from an article in the Journal for Clinical Investigation from 2019. I found this document important because it was a look at the RNA covid vaccines that had been in development for the past 20 years. Its 2019 publication preceded any Covid scare so it is free of any politics. After 20 years of research, the predecessor to this current Vaccine initially functioned much the same. It had made it through the advanced animal tests. So where did it fail?

I found this important because the latest trial made it so far, that they reached the animal tests. This means they had no reason to believe the vaccine would fail, or they had no knowledge it would fail. It also means they thought it was safe, and passed more tests, and underwent longer trials than our current vaccine.

So we have no knowledge whatsoever that these new vaccines (the current Covid -19) will not fail in the same way.

Unfortunately, a pro-vaccination article has reported real concerns about this vaccine which seem to mimic the previous vaccine.

In a recent Medrx article from May of 2021 we read the following

“Researchers in The Netherlands and Germany have warned that Pfizer-BioNTech’s coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine induces complex reprogramming of innate immune responses that should be considered in the development and use of mRNA-based vaccines.

Jorge Domínguez-Andrés and colleagues say that while the vaccine has been shown to be up to 95% effective in preventing infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and subsequent COVID-19, little is known about the broad effects the vaccine may have on the innate and adaptive immune responses.

In the current study (not peer-reviewed*), the research team from Radboud University Medical Center and Erasmus MC in the Netherlands, and the Helmholtz-Centre for Infection Research (HZI), Hannover Medical School (MHH), and the University of Bonn, in Germany, confirmed the efficacy of BNT162b2 vaccination at inducing effective humoral and cellular immunity against several SARS-CoV-2 variants.

However, they also showed that the vaccine altered the production of inflammatory cytokines by innate immune cells following stimulation with both specific (SARS-CoV-2) and non-specific (viral, fungal and bacterial) stimuli.”

So although they acknowledge in this article the Vaccine seems to be effective, it looks like it reprograms the innate immune response of the body.

To clarify, here is the definition of Innate. 1 : existing in, belonging to, or determined by factors present in an individual from birth: native, inborn innate behavior. 2 : belonging to the essential nature of something: inherent.

So according to this study, we are notified that the Vaccine seems to reprogram the inborn native immune response of the body. That does not make me feel better.

There is now a push to inoculate young people who have very little threat from the Covid 19 virus. When you look at the actual table of deaths the vast number of people who died from Covid were people who were of advanced age.

As one friend who runs several funeral homes told me, I buried people who should have died unless they were grossly overweight. I believe the current statistics say a child has a 99.995 percent of surviving Covid, and that is even with the medical field withholding proven life-saving medication.

We were bombarded early with hospitals overflowing with sick and dying, but we never asked a lot of questions.

Did we exacerbate deaths by putting the most vulnerable in buildings together? The actions of New York and Florida show significant differences. Half of the deaths occurred in Nursing Homes.

We now know we withheld life-saving medicines for whatever reason, medicines that show we could have saved many, many people.

Since as recent as the 1950’s we have extended the life expectancy by 10 years. In my parent's generation, Nursing Homes were rare, and now they are a thriving business sector. This is our first major flu affecting people with an expanded life span of almost a decade. Why wouldn’t we have more deaths?

We changed decades of record-keeping protocols on viruses. We went from identifying people who died from a disease to people who died with a disease. Below are a few comments from the article Let’s demand a recount…of COVID deaths By Thomas T. Siler, M.D.

Here are a few excerpts.

According to the CDC, only 6% of those who died with the COVID-19 infection had no other pre-existing health conditions. While the other 94% had an average of four medical conditions already affecting their health.

According to an October study from the bulletin of Science, Public Health Policy, and the Law, on March 24, 2020, the CDC changed the way it tabulated deaths for the previous 17 years, resulting in inflated COVID-19 death numbers. Moreover, the change affected only deaths relating to COVID-19. Even more surprising, the Federal Register does not mention these changes, so it appears the CDC acted without peer review and oversight by either the Office of Management and Budget or Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, which would violate federal law.

The same article says that, in August, the estimate for COVID-19 deaths under the new system was 161,392.

However, if the same data had been tabulated under the old system, the COVID-19 death count would be only 9,684. The fundamental difference was that no matter the patient’s ultimate cause of death, the new system mandated that COVID-19 must always be the first cause of death.”

Also of note was how we calculated who was infected. On the day of President Biden's Inauguration, the W.H.O. changed how we tested for Covid -19 because we were getting so many false positives. This slashed the daily numbers that were reported by tens of thousands, literally overnight.

There is no doubt we were faced with a Virus that was taking a serious toll on our society. This virus was engineered to be more infectious, and we have an older population, and we handled their care terribly. We ignored treatments that would both lessen the virus and reduce the death rate. People overinflated the numbers and we dropped safety requirements.

Now, for whatever reason, we are pushing a vaccine on those who don’t need it with false science. I pray the current Vaccines do less damage than their predecessors.

My concern is everything has been based on the short term results. Articles all quote what the effect has been, “in the now”. Many vaccines from the past that were approved were later removed because of serious long term side effects, and this Vaccine skipped years of testing. The pharmacies have all geared up for booster shots so unlike previous Vaccines the public will be offered additional doses of an untested experimental vaccine. When I researched Moderna I found they make ZERO medicines or other health care products. Moderna has one successful product, the untested Covid 19 Vaccine.

Then there is the VARS government website. This site has been trusted for decades to measure the response of Vaccines. This Covid Vaccine in comparison to all other vaccines has more deaths and serious disabilities associated with it than any other vaccine on the VARs site. Yet no one will admit anything is wrong. It is just a huge coincidence that thousands of people, young and old died shortly after taking the Covid Vaccine.

One admitted problem with the vaccines is blood clotting. Again, we are told the numbers are insignificant in relation to the vaccine distributed. Dr. Charles Hoffe, a Canadian doctor saw a large number of problems with his clients after receiving the vaccine. Most doctors who have expressed concerns with the Vaccine seem to argue that the science will cause blood clotting. It has already been noted that the spiked protein of the virus causes heart problems so the question is why would the spiked protein of the vaccine not do the same. Dr Hoffe recognized only large-scale blood clots are reported. He asked the question “What if that meant other undiscovered clotting may be occurring”. On his own accord, he tested his patients who have had a recent vaccine shot with a d dimer test. This test shows if there has been recent blood clotting. He reported that over 62 percent of those who received the vaccine showed blood clotting. He believes this clotting is very dangerous and is causing long-term health issues.

I understand if people want to take this experimental vaccine based on our current knowledge but for the reasons above I will not. I see too much information that is not being shared honestly. Doctors and scientists with excellent credentials are ignored, or blacklisted. The Vaccines do not meet my acceptable criteria as a Christian or as a man of reason and science.

Too many questions are not answered or leave too much to chance. The current “science” tells us three things for certain.

First, The vaccine does seem to help lessen the effects of Covid. Possibly lessening the spread, because people do not get as sick.

Second, The vaccine does, in a short time, kill or cause disabilities with a small number of recipients.

Third, We do not have any idea of possible long-term side effects because testing was not done.

Based on these criteria people should have an informed choice to make their own decisions but no one should be encouraging anyone to take something that has so many unknowns and never finished its proper testing.
